Custom products: we are your link with the factory

For a custom product, we support you through every exchange with the factory. We pass on your drawings and requirements in Chinese, explain the factory's drawings and every change to you, and nothing goes into production without your approval.

Who pays whom

Your money goes straight to where it belongs

We don't resell anything and we take no percentage. You sign with and pay each provider yourself, against an invoice.

Factory in ChinaThe goods

You pay the factory directly, under the purchase contract signed with our supervision. The contract sets quality, lead times and payment terms, and we inspect the products before shipment. No margin for us on that price.

Forwarder · CustomsFreight, duties, import VAT

You sign directly with the freight forwarder and the customs broker, whom we have selected and vetted. We follow the shipping and formalities through to delivery. You pay the actual cost, with no commission for us.

What every factory visit includes

A professional on-site visit: quality check of products already manufactured, detailed inspection of the factory (premises, machinery, production capacity, staff, internal quality control, storage) and check of company documents. You receive a full report with photos and videos.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why no commission?

With a commission, the middleman earns more when you pay more. With a fixed price, our interest is to find you the best factory at the best price.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. You only pay for the package or services you chose, at the price shown on this website, excluding and including VAT. If you add a service during the project, it is also charged at the listed price, and only with your approval.

What is in the report?

For each factory: verified contact details, background, registered capital, staff, production sites, import-export licences, certifications, prices, minimum quantities, lead times, strengths and risks. The report ends with our recommendation.

Do I have to pay online?

No. You send your request and we reply with a quote. The service is paid by bank transfer against an invoice, once you agree.

Is there a minimum quantity?

Not on our side. Factories set their own minimum orders, which we state in the report.

Who is responsible for CE compliance?

We check the certificates supplied by the factory and point out what needs checking. As the importer, you remain responsible for placing the product on the market.

Who pays the factory, and how?

You pay the factory directly, by bank transfer, under the terms of the purchase contract. We never receive the money for the goods.

How do you charge your fees?

By bank transfer, against a French invoice. The quote shows the price excluding and including VAT before we start.

How long does it take?

It depends on the product and the factory. The report lead time is stated in the quote. For production and shipping, we give you a realistic schedule before you order; on one of our projects, sea freight from Shenzhen to Marseille took about 40 days.

Do I need an EORI number to import?

A business importing into the EU needs an EORI number. If you don't have one, or if you are a private individual, we can arrange DDP delivery: customs duties and import VAT are then included in the delivered price.

Do you work with private individuals?

Yes. We first check with you whether you can import yourself (EORI number, importer status), then we choose the import solution that best fits your situation.

What products can you source?

Any product made in China: screens, aluminium joinery, furniture, equipment, packaging, custom parts and much more. We do not handle counterfeits or products banned from import into the EU.

What if the inspection finds a defect?

You receive the photo report before shipment. Defects are reported to the factory to be fixed before departure, under the terms of the purchase contract.

Are my drawings and information kept confidential?

Yes. Your details and documents are used only for your project. We pass on to the factory only what is needed for production, and a confidentiality agreement can be signed if you wish.
